More than tour guides. Jeffrey and Jane are passionate lovers of history, the stranger and more unusual the better.
They single handedly changed the dynamics of touring in New Orleans with smaller group sizes and focusing on the
strange but true side of history.
Jeffrey and Jane want to bring that spirit of innovation to Richmond.

Jeffrey

Jeffrey’s journey into the strange historic realm began years ago in New Orleans.
Arriving in New Orleans in the mid-90s in a VW camper van ( yes, it’s cliche!) he quickly became the resident manager of
a haunted guest house just outside the French Quarter.
He then became a ghost tour guide for the city’s top ghost tour company.
The stories, as juicy as they were, were no match for the real, strange, true history that exists. Feeling they could do a better tour,
Strange True Tours was founded in 2011.
With his partner Jane, who has a history degree, they quickly became sought-after guides and speakers.

Specializing in niche subjects, small groups, and private tours, they became the go-to company
for authors, historians, and celebrities over the years.

Jeffrey is the New Orleans expert on Lee Harvey Oswald and the New Orleans mafia/organized crime.
